TrialsNet Open Call

The European project TrialsNet, in which the City of Turin is a partner, launched last October 16 a CALL addressed to companies, SMEs, research centers or any other relevant entity, interested in participating in its large-scale experimentation activities through the implementation of additional vertical use cases and proposed experiments must relate to one of the main areas identified by the project:

  • Infrastructure
  • Transportation
  • Safety and security
  • E-health and emergencies
  • Culture
  • Tourism
  • Entertainment

TrialsNet offers applicants the opportunity to participate through two different options:

Option 1: (a) New use cases and field trials supported by one or more TrialsNet infrastructures in terms of platforms and network solutions, or (b) enhancement of use cases through integration of software applications, features, devices, new users, and datasets.

Option 2: New use cases that leverage additional new field trial infrastructure, such as experimental, private and/or commercial networks.

A total of €5,580,900 will be allocated to provide financial support to successful applicants. Each will receive funding of up to 200,000 euros (under Option 1) or 300,000 euros (under Option 2). An individual candidate may receive up to 200,000 euros. All contracted applicants will receive 100 percent of the submitted costs. The expected duration of participation is 12 months and the planned start date is May 2024.

TrialsNet will organize a series of webinars to provide applicants with useful information about the Call: the first webinar is scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2023 from 11:00 to 12:30 CET (register here).
