From 16 to 18 November 2021 will be held in Turin the international training course “Academy”, as part of the European project PACTESUR (Protect Allied Cities against Terrorism in Securing Urban areas) in collaboration with ANCI Piemonte.
The project, funded by the Internal Security – Police Fund (ISF-Police Action Grant), aims to strengthen the security of urban public spaces and aims to increase the skills and capacity of action of municipalities in the event of terrorist threat.
The training course will address issues of extreme topicality, including: identification of suspicious behaviour, safety and security of public events, techniques for the protection of personnel from knife attacks, the principles of tactical medicine, the techniques of mediation and negotiation, the management of post-traumatic stress. Practical exercises with virtual reality simulators are provided.
